Ok I would like to say a few thing in the section for all of you.

IF YOU PLAY THE SAME WAY WITH REAL MONEY AS YOU DO FOR FREE YOUR SCREWED!

Anyone here can ask Junior we play together all the time. He knows my Money game vs my play game. If i tell him I'm going to win it. I may or may not win the money but I'll be at the final table in 3rd place or better every time!

In my play game anything with a face card and any other card I'll usually pay to see the flop then decide from there if i wanna go for it. In my cash game I will not play anything less than Runner-Runner face cards, Pair below the 8 and or runner-runner suited. Yes even A-6 Suited I'll throw away. You have to be aware of your opponents. Also you have to keep in mind at the beginning of a tournament you have to play tight. Once you get to the final table and there are 5 or less players (Including Yourself) you can loosen the grip a bit. A-7 at that point becomes a good hand. You have to keep in mind at that point there are only 8 other cards in play against you. At that point someone else having a better run on you is less likely. Now I'm not saying to play 9-4 but you'll know how loose you can play based on the hole cards flipped up by your opponents after the first few hands. If they won a pot with 10-6 then you can start loosening the grip a bit. Because that means they and no one else at the table are catching the monster hands all the time. You figure with a full table of 9 players there are 16 other cards in play the odds are much better that someone caught something good. Just keep that in mind and PLEASE DON'T FREAK OUT AT THE FINAL TABLE. I've seen too many players who once they get to the final table wait for the big hands to come and the blinds kill them every time. If you don't take a chance once in awhile you might as well not even play!

me not knowing the game that well... i can really see why that stratigy would work.... me personally i play by what the people aroud me are playing... i pay alot to what they are trying to win with... my freinds play alot different then my family. family is more or less drink, and have a good time... when i play with friends it seems to get more intense and the pots get bigger... and we play till we run out of whatever we came there with... even the girls arent safe cause they usually walk away topless.. hahaha.. one day i may think about tournaments and stuff but untill then i just have fun
